  The spacious Family Bungalows are a 2 bedroom, single bathroom set up is its own authentic costa rican vibe. All family bungalows have two private bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with two single beds) and two single beds in the foyer. With hammocks and rocking chairs overlooking private rainforest nook, you will take in the sights and sounds with a coffee, tea or journal in hand. Located near the swimming pool, cafe and solar-heated Jacuzzi, you can escape for a swim or soak any hour of the day.

  The Dome is the luxurious hand-sculpted room, created by master artisans and feels like a page out of Architectural Digest.  The bedroom has a curved passageway to separate domed bathroom, where the shower opens fully to the glories of the rainforest. At night, the lights from the Dome radiate through little glass cutaways in the walls, adding even more detail and magic to your surroundings.
  Equipped with AC, private patio, hammock & rocking chairs, you’re just a stone’s throw away from the yoga shala where you can easily escape to meditate or practice.

  This reservation is for a shared King room with 1 other person. Guests must be reserving the room together and share a King sized bed. Price is per person.

  Welcome to Casita Esplendor de la Luna, the little house of moonbeams!

  The famed Costa Rican architect Rolf Ruge designed this bamboo guesthouse to be open to the energy of the rainforest, with screen walls that literally swing open to a view of the forest.  Complementing the bamboo construction are furnishings also created from bamboo, and we’re thrilled that the great bamboo craftsman Brian Erickson once again worked his bamboo magic for us.

  Casita Esplendor is our most secluded room, with its only neighbors being the large family of scarlet macaws that sleep nearby.  Oh, and the many frogs living in the pond, the green ibis, the hummingbirds, and let’s not forget the cows that walk down the hillside on their way to the barn for morning milking.

  Casita Esplendor is not visible from the other dwellings at Finca Luna Nueva, but it’s only a minute or so easy walk on a lighted path from the casita to the reception.

  Casita Esplendor is for people who want to experience the architect’s goal of being “open to the energy of the rainforest.”
   It is our only room that is not air conditioned, allowing us to use screens that permit the flow of breezes, the wafts of perfume from ylang ylang trees, and the myriad sounds from the forest.  There are, of course, ceiling and floor fans for use as desired.  Adjoining the bedroom is a magnificent bathroom with a large shower, which is completely private but once again open the energy of the forest.  And to moonbeams!

  This unique house was made from the deep red clay found on the farm. The spacious circular structure was handmade feels like a natural extension of the land. This room offers a King and single bed.  The Earth House has a lovely private setting, but it is conveniently located within 60 ft of our Yoga Pavillion, Spa, Jacuzzi, Pool and Restaurant.
